Turkey or Lean Beef Chili
Ingredients:
Cook onions and garlic until translucent in a non-stick pan. Brown meat with onion mix. In a separate pot, combine all tomatoes, seasoning, Texas Pete and lime juice. Then transfer meat to the pot and allow to simmer for 10 minutes.
- 24 ounces lean turkey or hamburger (93% lean or higher)
- 1 cup chopped red onion
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 can 28 ounce crushed tomatoes
- 1 can petite tomatoes
- 1 juice from a lime
- Optional: Texas Pete and crushed red peppers for more spice
